Man Down Man Down!

Well when I said that Probably because Bubba and ourselves have already had every disgusting day care disease that you can have, we seem to be in the clear I was clearly lying. Because it had been a week since she’d gotten sick, I was of the optimistic opinion that I/we were in the clear. However, God had other plans. THE MOMENT the Flash seemed to be perking up and getting her sparkle back, I came down with the same disgusting thing. I’m not kidding, the exact MOMENT. Yesterday was a Day of Terror for me and I felt like I was going to die. We also had a small (no damage to humans or home) kitchen fire to add to the drama. Today I am feeling a little better.
TSH has been keeping the whole house running including saving the apartment from burning down and is about to take the kidlets out to an animal farm complete with a pancake picnic. God Bless Him. And the upside to all of this is that I’ve lost so much weight now that I’ll be able to totally pig out at Easter and eat whatever I want so Good Friday is probably going to be a Great One.
Oh no Loulou, that sounds terrible. Sending you lots of feel better warm fuzzies.
Get well soon !!
THANK YOU, it’s needed…
Tragedy!!! Glad to hear there’s a positive outcome with the advent of a guilt-free Easter.
TSH is now down with it… the tragedy continues…
Same thing happened to us. We had a playdate with a girl from daycare and were talking about a boy who was originally going to join us too, but was sick for the last few days with a cough and fever. We were thankful that we hadn’t caught his bug yet. That afternoon, my throat felt funny and last night J got a fever and sounded like he was coughing up a lung! We are both home today being sick, but what’s worse is that it finally snowed and we can’t even go out to play!! ARGH!
oooo that’s bad news! a play in the snow is always great fun, especially if it is out of the usual. You can take the snow from here if you want, I am over. it.
Oh no… sorry to hear you’ve been sick and how frustrating!
Loving the upside though!
daycares and schools are a cess pool of infection! when kayla first started daycare at 16mos, she was sick for like, 2yrs straight! the doctor’s office knew us by name and number because we were there practically every week :(. it gets better though, as they get older and their immune systems get stronger.
glad no one was hurt in the fire, Yikes!!
ohh 2 years straight- it is starting to feel like that, it’s totally gross. We have actually had only 2 or 3 days of health over Easter and then we were back all sick again. Ugg..
