Well although I've got a thing for spring, autumn is my favourite season. So I am delighted to say that this week in Sweden, it's officially arrived and thus time to pull out your uggs. It's a beautiful time in Sweden where the temperature drops, but not far enough for me to complain.
Midsummer is all about nature, feeling the sun on your skin, the coming summer and sticking wildflowers in your hair. We will drink, eat, sing and dance, yes just another Friday in Sweden.

May the morning sweet and fresh breeze hit your ears.

She comes home singing little Swedish songs of which I have no clue to what she is trying to sing. I don’t think she has much of clue either judging by her ad hoc avant garde Bartok inspired melodies she comes up with.
The time had arrived. Our paternity money had run out and our bank manager thought it best that we both return to full-time work. It was time to look at day care options...
It’s been a few weeks since our latest pagan ritual, so surely it’s time for another one. This long weekend, we are going to set Sweden alight in bonfires, burn away the evil winter spirits and welcome in Spring, the bastard.
For Sweden, Easter’s all about witches. I mean what’s Easter without the resurrection of a good old pagan tradition?

Just when you about to slit your wrists and you can’t take it anymore, darkness turns to light and all is right with the world again. Flowers bud, the birds find their melodies again and piles of scarves and hats can be forcibly pushed back into your IKEA wardrobe.
